Post 5 Computers In the Work Place in Cyber Ops

          


 Although I am in the munitions squadron, I want to talk about the Cyber Operation Field in the government. I think it is vitally important to be computer literate in this fields. The cyber world as grown exponentially and cyber-crimes as well, and you know as the number one government in the world cyber criminals want to get our secrets. So being more than computer literate. In this field there is always cyber-attacks every day in our network.  Like Kasey said “government networks are closed off from a lot of the world and the public.” Cyber security is very important not just at work but at home also, the training we receive you can use in everyday life.  
         
          As a cyber security liaison I make sure that the members in

my squadron understand the importance of cyber security and how to help keep our DOD network safe. It is important for everyone on the DOD network to be computer literate so that they don’t mistakenly open the network to vulnerability’s, computers are a very big part of the DOD and the functions of computer’s are becoming more involved in mission related operations. 
         
         I believe computers in the next ten years in the government is going to become more and more immerse than it is now. Drones and Satellite imaging is just the start, I believe we are going to use computers to fight wars. The image that comes to mind are the terminator movies, or I Robot with Will smith. Talk of AI type programs and software to gather information is becoming a reality.
